Let’s Get You Comfy…

What should we wear for our session?

Don’t worry—styling is part of the magic! After booking, you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated style guide and personalized wardrobe support. I’ll help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel like you. Soft textures, neutral tones, and movement-friendly pieces are always a yes.

What if my kids don’t cooperate?

Oh friend, I expect a little chaos. I’ve worked with hundreds of tiny tornadoes—and I’m a mom of three, so trust me when I say I’ve seen it all. I bring patience, playfulness, and tricks up my sleeve to guide them gently. The real magic often comes in the in-between moments.

Do you help with location planning?

Yes! Whether you’re dreaming of dreamy golden light in a field or cozy snuggles at home, I’ll help you pick the perfect backdrop. I’ve got a list of beautiful, kid-friendly spots and always factor in lighting, season, and your family’s vibe.

Can I include grandparents or extended family?

Absolutely. Grandparents bring a tenderness and legacy that’s priceless. Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan for the extra love.

Do you shoot in-home sessions or only outdoors?

Both! In-home sessions are dreamy—especially for newborns and families who want a slower, story-driven feel. I adore capturing families in their natural element, whether that’s in your nursery, kitchen, or backyard.

How far in advance should I book?

Most clients book 2–3 months in advance. Newborn sessions are often reserved during pregnancy. Weekend spots fill fast, especially during spring and fall, so earlier is always better!

Do you offer payment plans or bundles?

Yes! I offer both flexible payment plans and session bundles for families who want to document their story over time. Let’s find the option that fits your season of life.

When is the best time to schedule a newborn session?

Newborn sessions are best in the first 7–21 days of life, when baby is still sleepy and snuggly. But truly—any time in that fourth trimester is perfect. Let’s document the love, not the timeline.

What if my baby is fussy the whole time?

It’s okay. Truly. We’ll take breaks, follow baby’s lead, and keep things calm and cozy. As a former school counselor and seasoned baby whisperer, I’m here for whatever your little one needs.

Do you bring props or outfits for baby?

I bring a few timeless, baby-safe essentials—like wraps and simple accessories. But my style leans more natural than propped. I want to highlight your baby’s real, beautiful self.

How many images will I get?

Each session includes a gallery of carefully edited images—typically 40–60. I focus on quality and emotion, delivering a collection that tells your story with honesty and heart.

When will I receive my photos?

You’ll receive your full gallery within 2–3 weeks. I know how excited you’ll be to relive the magic, so I work efficiently while still honoring the editing process.

Do you offer prints or albums?

Yes! Your gallery includes access to professional-quality prints, frames, and heirloom albums. These are made to last—because your memories deserve more than a dusty hard drive.

Can I post the images on social media?

Please do! I love seeing your joy shared. Just tag or credit me where possible—it helps other families find their way to meaningful memories too.

Do I need to know how to pose?

Not at all. I’ll guide you gently with prompts that feel natural, never stiff. My sessions are more about connection than choreography.

What makes you different from other photographers?

I blend artistry with empathy. As a mother, former counselor, and storyteller at heart, I’m here to make this feel good. I notice the tiny moments others might miss, and I create a space where you and your children can just *be*. That’s where the magic lives.

I feel awkward in front of the camera — is that okay?

Oh sweet friend, almost everyone feels that way. But once we get going, you’ll forget the camera’s even there. You’ll be too busy loving on your people—and I’ll be there, quietly capturing the beauty of it all.
